Generator Interactive Inverters provide mains quality power efficiently
and automatically. The system uses batteries to store energy for periods when
power demand is low, and automatically starts a diesel generator set when demand
is high or when the batteries require recharging.
This mode of operation ensures that the diesel fuel is efficently converted
to electricity by only running the generator at medium to heavy loads and only
for a small proportion of the day. Power is drawn from the batteries and converted
to a mains quality sine wave by a microprocessor controlled inverter. While
the generator is operating, it supplies power to the load and the inverter charges
the batteries. However if heavy loads occur, both the inverter and the generator
can supply the load, giving a peak capacity equal to the sum of the inverter
and the generator ratings. This allows smaller generators to be used compared
to inverter charger systems.
An alphanumeric LCD display allows inverter variables to be displayed and allows
suitably qualified technicians to adjust operating parameters to optimise system
performance.
Please note that as of March 2011, all Power Solutions Australia inverters are discontinued lines.

Common to all units:
- Automatic Bypass: Supply is maintained by the generator if the inverter is off line.
- Low distortion, high power load presented to generator during charging for best generator performance.
- All units available in 220 / 230 / 240 VAC 50 or 60 Hz output (240 / 415, 230 / 380V three phase plus neutral connection). 120 / 208 VAC on application.
- Data Logging Remote Access: RS232 port, standard data logging and remote access via modem, satellite, GSM and CDMA technology.
- Cooling: Convection and thermostatically controlled fans.
- Enclosures: Electronics IP50, transformer and heatsink IP23. Weatherproof enclosures or rack mounting are available on request.
- Protection: Over current trip, over voltage, over temperature, reverse polarity, fast electronic trip, transient over voltage protection.
Standards:
All inverters are designed to AS3100 / AS2604 / AS61000.3.5 and the draft AS/NZ standard for grid connect inverters.
Low distortion, high power presented to to generator during charging for best generator performance.
Refer to sales staff for details of applicable compliance testing.
