In close consultation with BP Solar, Selectronic Australia developed an inverter/controller for use in village electrification systems throughout Malaysia. This intelligent product incorporated a 30 Amp solar controller and an energy meter that also limited the customer’s energy usage to the system’s capacity, maximising the battery life and guaranteeing a highly reliable source of supply to the customer. Over 4MW of inverters been installed under this program to date.
